About Me

Tue Jul 28, 2009, 2:26 PM
After attending a number of Anime conventions and participating in LARP games since I was a little kid I decided to start my own LARP group in the RGV. Realizing that most people didn't have access to foam weapons I started making them myself. I have everything from plain lvl 1 swords (a simple foam tube over pvc and covered with duct tape) to swords and other weapons which combine many different types of foam and look more like weapons than foam bats. Please feel free to email me. I take commissions as well as offer already made swords for sale.

What do you play? Belegarth? Amtgard?

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
:iconpilla-palla:
Dragorhir, mostly. I've done a bit of amtgard but it seemed a little too violent for me. I prefer the story elements of Dragorhir. :)
:icontechnococcus:
Dragorhir? Is that another Dagorhir spin-off? Dagorhir doesn't ~have~ any "story elements" as near as I know; I fight with a Dag group in CT and Dag's rulebook is more combat-oriented than Amtgard's.

I was about to say, "Too violent? Amtgard?? Wussssss," but then I remembered that you're from Texas, where Amtgard is much more hardcore than elsewhere.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
:iconpilla-palla:
I meant to say Dagorhir. Not so much "story" elements, but I like that they go for the whole feeling. Costumes, armor and whatnot. And yeah, Amtgard down here is crazy. Less a sport and more misplaced aggression. XD
:iconmjnousak:
thansk for the watch. ^^ interesting,do you do Dagorhir, or only LARPing?

throughout life I realized many important things, but the most important is that maturity is learning to face your problems with a positive attitude and confidence in yourself.
:iconpilla-palla:
I prefer Dragorhir but I don't have much experience with much else.

looking good!
